In 2023, the IPA experts at Voodoo Ranger got involved in gaming in a big way.
First, Voodoo Ranger partnered with Arkane Studios and Xbox to brew an exclusive IPA to celebrate the launch of Redfall on Xbox and PC. The beer was brewed for maximum vampire-slaying satisfaction, drawing inspiration from the apocalyptic action of the new open-world game. Behind the custom Redfall label, fans found a blood-red brew that wasn’t afraid to bite back. Voodoo Ranger Redfall was a 7% IPA with hop-forward flavors, notes of citrus and pine resin, and a perfectly crisp finish.
Next, Voodoo Ranger collaborated with Wizards of the Coast’s Magic: The Gathering team to brew a modern, citrus-forward IPA with spices, herbal notes, and a crisp, dry finish. The beer was inspired by each of the five land types in Magic, boasting five hops, five grains, and five spices that come together to transport consumers’ tastebuds to an Elven Forest alongside Nissa, the Vastwood Seer.
