Dungeons & Dragons has been the most popular role-playing game in the world since its inception in 1974. The brand has continued to grow through its innovative games and unique gaming experiences. With geek culture ubiquitous in today’s world, Dungeons & Dragons is a leader in incorporating gaming into everyday life.

We reached out to contemporary artist Todd James, a fan of Dungeons & Dragons since his childhood, to extend the brand’s reach within street fashion. Alongside his global art exhibitions, his distinct designs can be seen in collaborations with performers Eminem, Beastie Boys, and Miley Cyrus, as well as several popular entertainments brands including Aqua Teen Hunger Force, Crank Yankers, and the MTV Music Awards, and even athletic brand Adidas.

Partnering with New York City streetwear brand Mishka, James created an exclusive Dungeons & Dragons apparel collection. The clothing featured custom art that blended Dungeons & Dragons’s old school beginnings with a fresh take from streetwear culture. We gamified the collaboration with an original Dungeons & Dragons adventure that brought James’s unique creations to life.

The exclusive apparel collection launched at gaming shop Twenty Sided in Brooklyn, New York. It became a destination for Dungeons & Dragons fans looking for a new way to appreciate its stories.
