Samsung and Xbox gave fans the chance to win an epic next generation gaming set-up.
In the lead up to the launch of the Xbox Series X and Cyberpunk 2077, Xbox, Samsung, and CD PROJEKT RED gave five people a chance to test their skills and unlock a Samsung QLED Limited Edition Cyberpunk 2077 TV, an Xbox Series X, and a copy of Cyberpunk 2077.
Gamers were invited into the world of Cyberpunk through an alternate reality game called Samsung QLEDecode—a digital scavenger hunt that brought them on a journey through the far corners of the internet. Guided by a series of mysterious posts and clues, consumers needed to use both their individual wits and the community to unravel the puzzle, leading to a final task where five players had a chance to test their decoding skills and unlock the grand prize.
The QLEDecode Finale was a real-time Twitch event like no other: part esports event, part CTF (Capture The Flag), and part real-world puzzle game. Streamers watched as the five finalists competed against time and each other to virtually infiltrate a highly-secure interactive container housed in a mystery location somewhere in the U.S. – with the hopes of unlocking the ultimate Cyberpunk 2077 Grand Prize. During the QLEDecode Finale, viewers got a chance to win additional amazing prizes, including the Limited Edition Cyberpunk 2077 Samsung QLED TV, Samsung Sound Bars, Xbox Series X, and more.
