Porsche – legendary automaker, and a familiar name to real-world and virtual racing fans alike – marked its 75th anniversary in 2023, and Xbox joined the celebrations. We were excited to bring them together to release a limited collection of custom Xbox Series X consoles and matching Xbox Wireless Controllers in vibrant colorways based on six historic Porsche motorsport liveries. Fans could enter a sweepstakes for a chance to win one of the console and controller combinations from the collaboration.
Xbox worked closely with Porsche to bring their iconic design to the platform through hits like the Forza franchise. The Xbox 75th Anniversary collection pays homage to six of Porsche’s most unforgettable looks by reimagining them for the Xbox Series X console and accompanying controllers. Xbox unveiled the six limited-edition console designs at major auto and gaming events around the globe over the summer:

To raise awareness of the program we created a social media campaign. iJustine and CaptainSparklez took the wheel of some of the fastest and most luxurious cars ever made at the Porsche Experience Center in Los Angeles. Soon after, esteemed sim racer Steve ‘Super GT’ Brown promoted the 1978 Porsche Racing Edition Xbox Series X across all of his social media channels as well.
