Habitat for Humanity is a global nonprofit that works across seventy different countries advancing the vision that everyone deserves a decent place to call home. Video game publisher Bethesda Softworks formed a relationship with Habitat for Humanity alongside the launch of Fallout 76, a post-apocalyptic experience set in West Virginia. With additional help from Microsoft Xbox, the official hardware partner of Fallout 76, and Hypebeast, the leading online destination for men’s contemporary fashion and streetwear, they created a unique activation focused on supporting underprivileged families.

Hypemaker, the creative agency of Hypebeast, reached out to forty artists from around the world to create seventy-six unique real life T-51 Power Armor helmets, the best head protection you can wear in the in-game wasteland. Blending together art and entertainment, each artist added their unique signature style to their helmet, imbuing their own distinct aesthetics onto the collectible.

The decorated Fallout 76 helmets were put on display at Microsoft Store’s flagship retail location on 5th Avenue in New York City, New York. During October and November of 2018 fans could view a rotating selection of T-51 helmets. Soon after the exhibition was over the helmets were available for fans to purchase on Paddle8, a global leader in art and collectibles online.

Bethesda raised over $100,000 for Habitat for Humanity through their Fallout 76 collaboration. We were truly honored to be a part of the #HelmetsforHabitat campaign.
