The Halo Championship Series was the official competitive gaming competition for 2021’s biggest shooter release, Halo Infinite, the latest sequel in the global best-selling video game series, Halo. We were excited to partner with Xbox, Trolli, Rockstar Energy, and Lovesac to bring unique experiences to the tournament finals.
The Rockstar Energy Halo Sweepstakes gave consumers a chance to win a VIP trip to see the Halo Championship Series in Seattle! The prize included airfare, hotel accommodations, tickets to the event, a meet-and-greet with Halo Pro League player Ponder, and a $500 gift card to use on Xbox Live. Rockstar Energy was on the floor at the Halo Championship Series, with fans enjoying the taste of specially-marked cans of Rockstar Energy, featuring Halo Infinite.
Trolli and Halo Infinite debuted their own deliciously dark version of the iconic Halo Needler at HCS in Seattle. Halo fans attending the three day event had the opportunity to blast Trolli worms in the mouths of enemy targets at the Trolli booth using custom ‘Feedlers.’ The Feedler shot gleeful gummy worms instead of crystalline shards, a fantastical neon creation that dropped jaws, which is just what the worms want. Those who played had the chance to win limited edition Halo Infinite branded Trolli packages alongside 2XP and Challenge Swaps for use in Halo Infinite multiplayer.
Lovesac and Halo Infinite partnered to bring Lovesac’s groundbreaking modern furniture to the Halo Championship Series. Lovesac Sactionals and Sacs could be found in the event VIP areas, allowing fans extra comfort and a remarkable viewing experience. The Sactionals also included StealthTech, a premium technology that embeds mobile charging and sound into the furniture itself, helping those lounging a deeper entertainment experience. Lovesac Sactionals and Sacs could also be found in the athlete warm-up areas, talent Green Room, their Lovesac Mobile Concierge, and Trolli Feedler shooting range.
