Two powerhouse consumer brands with a deep history in gaming, Mountain Dew and Doritos, joined forces with Xbox to launch the ‘Every 60 Seconds’ promotion. The activation featured an online auction that gave fans the opportunity to win one of thousands of Xbox One X consoles.

The codes for the auctions were available on specially marked packages of  your favorite Doritos snacks and Mountain Dew products, including Game Fuel Arctic Burst and Tropical Smash. Product and packaging featured upcoming Xbox One X games like Middle-earth: Shadow of War and Forza Motorsport 7.

During November and December participants could use banked points from their codes to bid for a chance to win an Xbox One X and other prizes. Auctions began at 6 a.m. PT each morning and closed nightly between 6:01 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. PT.

Several store chains offered exclusive deals tied to the promotion. Mountain Dew and Doritos offered consumers more chances to win an Xbox One X later in the year through social media and traditional online promotions. Consumers could join the conversation using #Every60Seconds.
